Eastern Piedmont Central Labor Council and the North Carolina State AFL-CIO
representing over 100,000 working people across our state. Standing Up for Working Families Guided by my campaign vision to Educate, Empower, and Elevate, I am committed to building an economy that works for everyone—especially working families.
My priorities include:
Education: Investing in public education, workforce training, and apprenticeship programs that prepare students and workers for good-paying careers
Small Business: Supporting small and local businesses that create quality jobs, pay fair wages, and strengthen local economies
Mental Health & Wellbeing: Expanding access to healthcare, protecting workplace safety, and ensuring workers can take time to care for their physical and mental health. In addition, I support:
Raising wages and protecting workers’ rights. Safe workplaces and fair unemployment benefits. The freedom to organize and bargain collectively, Consumer protections that prevent predatory practices, Expanded voting access and fair representation, A Trusted Advocate for Workers. Labor leaders trust me to educate opportunity, empower working people, and elevate North Carolina’s future.

When our communities are safe, our students are better able to focus, learn, and succeed. When families feel secure, it supports stronger mental health and overall well-being. And when neighborhoods are stable, small businesses can grow, invest, and create opportunities.
